Conversations With Caleb: Being a New Nurse During a Global Pandemic

This pandemic has given me an entirely new appreciation for healthcare workers. They continue to risk their lives to selflessly serve us on the frontlines.

A healthcare worker in my life is one of my best friends/big sister Ashley McElhaney. Ashley is a nurse in the Metro-Atlanta area who graduated from nursing school in December 2019.

Many recent nursing graduates weren’t expecting their career to start with a global pandemic, but they’ve jumped into the fight without question.

Join Ashley and I as we talk about her experience as a new nurse, COVID-19 in the African American community, social distancing, self care and more.
